While We’re Young is about an older couple that meets a younger couple and become friends. They want to be hipp and feel young and not be as boring as their same-aged friends who’s living their life taking care of a baby. Directed by Noah Baumbach and the main characters are Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried.

It’s funny how you really want to get older when you’re younger and get younger when you’re older. This movies shows that it is important to see the positive things in your own age and not always dream of being older or younger then you are. I do often dream of getting older because it gives me new possibilities to do new things, that I often forgets to live in the now. It is very negative, because when one get’s older one might also wish that they had taken advantage of the time that was. Unfortunately is it very hard to live in the now and not dream about the future. Even if the movie focused more on an older couple not “living in their age”, no mater the age you are you still think about it. Although, I thought it was little wrong to show that when you are around 35-40 you should have kids. Only because you’re older does not mean that you have to get kids to be able to connect with your friends. Neither live the standards!

One of the main reasons why I watched this movie was because Amanda Seyfried was in it and she is one of my favorite actresses. The movie itself had an interesting and unique story which also made the movie fun to watch. I would say this movie is more for the ones who likes romantic or comedy movies, very different but still a chill movie to watch. I give it 6,5 out of 10 stars!
