Back to the Future II is about both the future and the past. Marty , Doc and Jennifer travels to the future to fix something their kid did wrong. If Marty can’t fix the future their bloodline will end. Although by doing so “now old Biff” sees them and steals Doc’s DeLorean (time machine) and tampers with the past. Doc and Marty have to go back to 1955 and fix what future-Biff changed.
When they were going to the future I was super excited considering I prefer time travel to the future more than to the past. They did however not stay long in 2015 before they went to the past. I became a little disappointed by that. I would definitely want to see more from the future. I did however like that they connected this movie to the first one by going back to 1955, where they had been before. Some time travel movies and TV-series do not connect with the previous episode or movie and I actually liked that we got to see an association.
Since it is 2016 I feel like we have to talk about how they thought 2015 would be. I mean it would be awesome if we had floating skateboards and cars but we are not quite there yet. It might have been more realistic if they had jumped a few decades. If I’m going to focus on the story itself I would probably say that it was a little tedious, but the changing environment and the amount of time travel was perfect.
