Remembering James Horner Blogathon – The Amazing Spider-Man

Remembering James Horner Blogathon has arrived and it’s the marvelous Bex (Film Music Central) that started and have hosted this blogathon to honor James Horner. If you want to read some of the posts other amazing bloggers have done for Horner then you can click here!

James Horner was a composer and did amazing music. I however decided to focus more on the movie (since my blog’s not really about music). The movie I chose is The Amazing Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are two stunning actors and they really make this movie come alive. Yeah, I really like them!!

Seeing Peter Parker grow into this amazing superhero is one of the highlights of the movie. Andrew Garfield puts his perspective to Spider-Man and creates more of a “nerdy-cool-fun” touch to Peter Parker. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man was also fantastic but the nerdy guy did also stick to Spider-Man, which made me miss the brave superhero type.

I decided to summon up this marvelous Marvel movie with five reasons why it’s amazing:

  1. Interesting and eventful story
  2. Amazing graphics
  3. Andrew Garfield
  4. Humorous
  5. James Horner’s music

To honor James Horner and his music in The Amazing Spider-Man I really think you should listen to this, it’s when Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man. I just really like how he builds up excitement and Horner doesn’t make it monotonous.
