Wedding Crashers (2005)

Wedding CrashersJuly 2005   Ι   1h 59min   Ι   David Dobkin

John and Jeremy loves to go to random people’s weddings and hook-up with the bridesmaids. At one wedding John meets the girl of his dream, and he and Jeremy gets invited to an extended weekend party, something that’s against the rules. John’s chances are however minimized when he finds out she has a boyfriend, but that doesn’t stop him from getting the girl of his dreams.

This is a perfect movie if you want to have the song “Shout” by The Isley Brothers on your head. It was stuck in my head for two days!! It is however a catchy song. The movie is just like the song, eventful and energetic. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson is a great combo and they make the movie so funny. I also liked that the story took place in many different places, and I have to confess that I love wedding movies so this is just my type. It is however more comedy in it than what it usually is in these kinds of movies, and that is good.

I like the whole idea and concept but I don’t like it when someone is trying to separate a couple or is cheating and it went more in that direction. The movie was also a little messy at some parts but the movie as a whole was great. I just really feel like Vince and Owen creates a unique movie, Rachel McAdams and Isla Fisher did also do an amazing job. This is a great movie if you like romantic comedies.

My rating: 7/10 👰
